If you post content (e.g., reviews, comments), you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it. You must ensure your content does not infringe on others' rights or contain offensive material.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
CareerHero Limited partners with Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to process payments. As a result, all transactions are subject to Paddle’s terms and conditions.
- Order Processing: "Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns."
- Recurring Payments: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle.
- Pricing Transparency: Before completing a purchase, users will be shown the full pricing details, including any recurring fees.
- PCI DSS Compliance: CareerHero does not collect or store buyer payment information. All payments are securely processed by Paddle in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
- Service Failure: If a paid service is not delivered as described due to an error on our part, you may be eligible for a refund.
- Technical Issues: If our platform or Paddle experiences technical failures that prevent access to paid services for more than 72 hours, we may offer a refund or service credit.
- Duplicate Payments: If you have been mistakenly charged multiple times for the same service, we will process a full refund for the duplicate charges.
- Chargebacks: Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, you agree to contact Paddle for resolution.
Subscription Cancellations:
- Users must cancel their subscriptions at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged.
- Once a subscription payment is processed, we do not offer partial refunds for unused time.
- If digital content has already been accessed or downloaded, no refunds will be issued.
Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, please contact Paddle’s Buyer Support team at help@paddle.com with the following details:
- Your full name
- Email associated with your account
- Transaction ID and date of payment
- Reason for refund request
Paddle will review your request and respond within 5-10 business days.

8. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
- Users should contact us before initiating a chargeback with their bank.
- Chargebacks incur a fee of $15 (£15 or €15) for card payments and $20 (£20 or €20) for PayPal transactions, which may be passed onto the buyer.
- If a dispute arises, Paddle will submit relevant evidence to the buyer’s bank to resolve the issue.
- Unusual transaction activity may result in additional security checks or refunds at our discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
We provide our services "as-is" without guarantees. We are not responsible for:
- Losses resulting from using CareerHero.
- Third-party links or services accessed via CareerHero.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if applicable).
10. Compliance & Dispute Resolution
- CareerHero complies with GDPR and other data protection laws.
- Any disputes should first be raised with our customer support team at support@careerhero.ai.
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.
